Poisons
|
With the basic training that he went through, Shin also taught himself how to create and apply poisons to his weapons to increase their affects on his enemies. Though he can use many different types, he only has three that he uses mainly.
|Paralytic| With this type of poison even a simple scratch will start to numb a part of an opponent's body to the point that the affected area is no longer useable. The more vital an area, the greater the effect. |Corrosive| The second that this poison gets into the blood stream, it starts to decay the body of his opponent to the point that they start to become necrotic. Without the antidote, the only way to stop this poison is to sever the affected area before it has the chance to spread further. [Estimated time until death: Thirty minutes] |Fatal| This is his most potent poison, but also the most costly and problematic to create; meaning that he doesn't normally use it unless absolutely necessary. Once in the blood stream it spreads to the vital organs and begins to shut them down instantly. The only way to stop it without the antidote is the same as the Corrosive Poison. [Estimated time until death: Five minutes and twenty-three seconds.] Not only does he coat his weapons with these poisons, he also creates bombs that release poisonous gasses upon detonation; which allows him to use them more efficiently with traps. |
Sharp Ninja Tools
|
Like most shinobi, Shinku carries on him pouches and sheaths containing the basic ninja tools. Those being kunai, senbon, shuriken, and other miscellaneous items that can be used immediately during a battle or other tactical situations to aid him in survival. Unless otherwise stated, they are normal items but can be coated in one or more of his personal poisons.

Explosive Tags
|
Another common occurrence for a shinobi are the wider effect ninja tools, explosive tags and smoke bombs. Though he normally carries only a few smoke bombs, his explosive tags are a different story; having anywhere from twenty to fifty due to their compact-able size. The most smoke bombs he will ever have on him at one time is three.

Double-Edged Nodachi |
This is one of the first weapons that he ever created outside of his puppets, and he made it into a pair. One for him and one for the kage of Getsugakure. The only difference between their weapons is simple, his is a nodachi [measuring one hundred and fifty-five (155) centimeters] and her's was a basic katana [measuring ninty-one and a a half (91.5) centimeters]. Other than the size, they are completely identical in every way, shape, and form. The hilt is black and grey and made out of a mixture of metal and vinyl with ribbed sections for the best type of grip. Unlike standard swords of feudal Japan, the tsuba is more like that of an eastern broadsword; only covering passed the blade in two directions compared to the usual three hundred and sixty degree protection. Continuing on to the blade, the bottom section is the next unique feature; but not the last. For about four to five inches, the blade is serrated on the front and the back has three rectangular slots. The third and final unique part is directly above that, the metal being sharpened on both sides. This obviously makes it double edged for the remainder; which contrasts to the fact that normal katanas are single edged weapons. The sheath, which measured just an inch or two longer than the actual blade, was comprised of a metal alloy that enabled it to be used as a blunt weapon if ever needed. In appearance, it wasn't too special, black body while the mouth and end held silver fastenings as to spice up the otherwise bland look.

Katanas of Heaven and Hell
|
As the name implies, this is a dual set of katanas that are basically inseparable from each other. Spanning three and a quarter feet from hilt to blade tip, these swords have appearances that are quite opposite. They are both without tsuba and the blades are identical, but the hilts and sheaths are what makes them so easy to tell apart. For the Katana of Heaven the hilt has a black handle wrapped in silvery white material that leave little black diamonds; where the Katana of Hell has a white handle with dark gray wrapping. At the base of the hilts they have the kanji for there names. Finally the sheathes are as follows: white and silver for Heaven and black and white for hell. Not only are they incredibly durable and sharp, they both have the same ability as well as a separate ability for each.
|Both| If they happen to be broken, adding a bit of his own chakra to them allows the weapons to repair themselves out of basically nothing; reconstructing as if on their own. [Note: Cannot be done during a battle unless he is standing completely still.] |Heaven| Of the two abilities that are inherent to the blades themselves, the Katana of Heaven's is much simpler to both explain and use. In the most basic of terms, this weapon can cut through chakra based abilities with little to no effort at all and, if he adds chakra to the blade, the higher level chakra abilities become easy to slice through as well. The most noted time that he has for the usage of this weapon was when he pierced the chakra cell that contained Kisana so that she could cut her way to freedom without relying completely on him to save her. |Hell| The Katana of Hell however has a much darker power that can be deadly if used right. This weapon deals with blood, the more blood it soaks up the more power and chakra it supplies its wielder with. When saving Kisana, he let her use this blade to slaughter her captures, enhancing her physical prowess and chakra levels exponentially. |
Nuibari [The Sewing Needle]
|
The Nuibari (縫い針; Literally meaning "Sewing Needle") is one of the swords of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, formally wielded by Kushimaru Kuriarare. The blade itself assumes the form of a narrow "longsword" (長刀, chōtō) that greatly resembles a large needle, with a long length of thin wire-mirroring thread, tied through the eye located at the base of its hilt. This sword is said to possess the ability to pierce all and stitch them together, demonstrated through its ability to effortlessly penetrate multiple targets in a single thrust and then quite literally stitched them together in substantial bundles, by simply pulling the attached wire taut. A capable user can even throw the sword with the intent of piercing a line of multiple enemies, before catching the needle at the other side and repeating the process at different angles, in order to create knots of corpses with the wire passing through the entirety, effectively creating bundles of bodies at various points along the length of the thread.
When Kasumi Shinkiiro, former kage of Kirigakure, came into possession of the scroll that sealed the weapons of the Seven Swordsmen; he passed on this particular blade to Shinku who keeps it attached to his left hip by way of a customized sheath he created with the purpose of holding the sword that can pierce anything. In order to do this he kept the bottom of the sheath unblocked so that it couldn't be penetrated and fall from his person. One of his most used methods for this sword is to attach a chakra string to the eye before launching it so that he can bring it to him no matter where it is, which easily allows him to use the threading effect. Also, with the chakra string attached to him as well; if he happens to miss his opponent with the blade, he can easily detach the thread from the sword so that he can try latching it onto his enemy. This of course allows him to take over the other's body and even siphon off some of their chakra. |
